Taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Arguably, your mental health can be even more significant as poor mental health can often lead to having a negative affect on your physical health and overall quality of your own life.

We are very lucky to live in a more modern society which has made talking about your mental health and prioritising it more normalised with the public. In the past, people have suffered as speaking out usually lead to the person being ostrasized or punished within society, however nowadays people now suffer silently due to judgement from their peers. This is why it is even more important to encourage the people you care about, such as your friends or family to discuss their own mental health. However, aim to do so in a non-forceful and caring manner to show your good intentions and not pressure people.
